Bank Center Lobby

Gábor Fülöp's sculpture exhibition can be viewed until 30 November 2022 in the Bank Center lobby. Each of the sculptures are life-size, uniquely made wooden artworks.

Gábor Fülöp lives in Budapest, where he also completed his studies at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts as a sculpture major. He is the owner of many awards. He regularly exhibits at national and international exhibitions; his sculptures can be found in collections worldwide.

His works are made with a specific reinterpretation of the traditional statuary techniques. The focus of his interest is the relationship between living organisms and their environment; the recurring theme is the human body. Eastern philosophy, the pantheistic approach plays a major role in his thinking. A prominent role is played by the surface of the sculptures.

His works convey the need for harmony that should exist between nature and man. The symbiosis of humans, animals and plants, restoring and maintaining the balance and harmony of the living world, which is the key to the survival of humanity and life on earth.
