National Blue Trail route / part XXV

distance 44.9 km; journey time 13 hours 50 minutes

The Blue Trail route leading to the northern part of the Tokaj Mountains climbs from the characteristic valley villages to one of the most beautiful castles in the country, and to the highland-like peaks of the Milic Group, then finally turning back from the border and ending at Hollóháza.

TIPS

• You can spend a longer time in the Kishuta area: the Pálháza light railway runs here, and you can stay in the castle operating as Kőkapu hotel.

• Be sure to dedicate at least half a day for the panorama and exhibitions of the renovated castle of Füzér.

• In Hollóháza the porcelain factory and the display- and sample shop are worth the detour through the village.
